Today the class enjoyed debating about whether they thought Michael (the main character from Kensuke's Kingdom) should sail around the world with his parents. After the discussion yesterday about the Scottish vote for independence the class knew a question was required for people to be 'for' or 'against'. Every person contributed to the debate and this was due to the two team captains (Miguel and Sunny) providing the opportunity for each person to state their point of view. There were some fantastic ideas from both campaigns but I think the team against Michael sailing around the world may just have won! I am already looking forward to the next debate.
